Noisettes will release their new single, the title track of their Top 10 album, Wild Young Hearts, on August 31st. The London-based trio, who recently celebrated a #2 single with Don’t Upset The Rhythm, will set off on a UK headline tour to follow the release of the single and a busy summer of festival appearances. Since the first London show sold out, a second night at the 02 Shepherds Bush Empire has just been added to the tour.
Noisettes’ ascent, at home and abroad, has been impossible to miss this year. As well as their UK chart success, and their album, the follow-up to 2007’s What’s The Time, Mr Wolf, going Gold, the band’s star has been also on the rise in the US: Island-Def Jam President LA Reid invited Noisettes to appear alongside Rihanna at the label’s recent showcase party; and the band has featured in the pages of US publications from The New York Times to Vogue to Pitchfork; and appearances are scheduled on the influential Late Show with David Letterman and hit show One, Tree Hill. Their Never Forget You single has hit #1 on the US Alternative Radio Chart, and big things are expected for the band when the album is released stateside in September.
