DJ AM Found Dead

According to MSN reports DJ AM aka Adam Goldstein was found dead at his New York apartment on Friday. TMZ.com reported that Goldstein had been found with a bottle of pills by his side. His body was discovered after friends raised the alarm as Goldstein had not been heard from for days. It is reported that he may have died from an accidental overdose.

Goldstein had worked on albums by such artists as Madonna, Will Smith and Papa Roach. He was also once a member of Crazy Town who had their biggest hit with ‘Butterfly’ back in 2001. He had previously been engaged to Nicole Richie and had dated Mandy Moore. However, it was only back in September 2008 that Goldstein had been involved in a plane crash. Goldstein and fellow musician Travis Barker from Blink 182 were critically injured but survived the crash. Sadly, four other people including the crew and two other passengers died in the crash. Tragically, less than a year later Adam Goldstein has died aged 36.
