John McKeown - Fade Away
Album Review

John McKeown – Fade Away

No matter whether you are an avid listener to rock music, punk, indie or power pop, the semi-acoustic style of music that John McKeown brings to the industry with this single has a special quality that must be considered as pure talent. This is a man that is no stranger to the limelight having been a band previously, but he is a man that certainly suits the solo position extremely well.

As a singer songwriter, John McKeown has been able to create a huge breath of fresh air with his debut single ‘Fade Away’. It is packed to the brim with a refreshing ambiance, some succulent melodies and the sorts of relaxing tones that can only ever fully be achieved from those animal sounds CDs. Written from the perspective of a man asking his companion about their time together, lyrically the words flow very well as a simple one way discussion. If there were ever a song to catapult you on to cloud nine and sooth the aching joints of the hustle and bustle of everyday life, then this would be it.
