T.I – Remember Me (feat.Mary J Blige)

Incarcerated rapper T.I. might not be able to get back in the studio for another ten months or so, but this single, taken from the shelved re-release of 2008’s big-selling Paper Trail, should prove enough to get fans salivating for his return to the limelight. Blessed with a sizeable hook from Mary J. Blige, the track is summer hit writ large. T.I.’s rapping is top drawer stuff, aggressive but technically adept with some great lines, and the polished production finishes everything off. This should give the rapper enough good grace to help recover a promising career when he goes straight.
