To celebrate the release of Alberta Cross’ fantastic debut album ‘Broken Side of Time’ on Monday (September 21st), the band have uploaded a 3 min video of previously unseen studio footage, recorded whilst the band were at producer Mike McCarthy (Spoon, Trail of Dead)’s Texas studio.
Of the finished album, guitarist/vocalist Petter Ericson Stakee explains: “We’re trying to give people truly soulful music, which is hopefully inspirational. I want to ease their minds and give them a little break from reality.”
‘Broken Side of Time’ is released next Monday, September 21st through Ark Recordings. Alberta Cross will be doing a UK headline tour in November, but in the mean time here’s a peek behind the scenes of the recording of the album that The Sun said “will send shivers down your spine”.
