Senser - Resistance Now
Album Review

Senser – Resistance Now

Far be it for Senser to do anything subtle, and so comes crashing “Resistance Now” which perfectly demonstrates that the original line up are just as capable as they were back at the start of their career.

A hard hitting track with both vocalists giving it their all. Heitham Al-Sayed pulls off the magic of doing his usual fast rap that is hard to beat; but also manages to turn this towards the end of the song where he’s actually doing some more standardised singing, and his voice is just as strong. It then turns again into more of a metal roar (seriously is there anything this guy can’t do with his voice?).

Partner in crime, Kerstin Haigh is no less worthy, but she is in backing mode for this song, although she does have her solo moment where she, like Al-Sayed, lets her singing voice go all over the place demonstrating that she too is capable of more than we may have thought.
Senser make it very clear that they are back, and just as politically astute as ever. Come on then! Where’s the album already!?
