V V Brown has announced a UK headlining tour for November. The “Travelling Like The Light Tour”, in association with Nissan QASHQAI, follows the release, on October 12th, of V V’s new Island single “Game Over”. Nissan has teamed up with V V and Metro newspaper to search for the hottest new music talent in the UK to support V V on her tour. Bands need to log onto memusic.co.uk/onlineandontour and submit their track. Metro’s panel of experts will pick 5 bands from each region to take part in a live regional final at a Barfly venue in Glasgow, York, Liverpool, Cardiff and London. The winner from each region will then go head to head in a public vote where Metro readers will ultimately decide which of the 5 gets the overall title and receives the amazing prize, supporting V V Brown on her UK tour.
V V has had a busy summer wowing festival crowds at Glastonbury, T In The Park, Lovebox, Camp Bestival, Secret Garden Party and the V Festival and is also due to perform at Bestival in September. V V has also recently inked a deal with the legendary Capitol Records in the US following feverish interest Stateside and is currently in Los Angeles shooting several prestigious photo shoots with among others Interview and Women’s Wear Daily.
