Bowling For Soup - My Wena
Album Review

Bowling For Soup – My Wena

The punk rockers Bowling For Soup have come back with the single called ‘My Wena’ which is from their next album ‘Sorry For Partyin’ due to be released on the 12th of October.

My Wena jumps in with a steady drum beat shortly followed by some repetitive chords on guitar then the song takes it down a notch until the chorus. The song itself is definitely very catchy with lyrics to make young people laugh due to the not so witty puns which are clearly intended. I think this song, although may be seen as funny, is not the best piece of music Bowling For Soup have produced as they haven’t really pushed the boundaries. They have just stayed completely within their comfort zone not making the music any better or different to previous songs.
