Senser release their 'How To Do Battle' album on Oct 19 2009 on Imprint Music.

Senser have always been a band ahead of their time. A band with a clear, laser-honed political stance wrapped up in an utterly compelling fusion of rock, metal, hip hop and alternative electronica. During the turbulent 1990's Senser spearheaded a movement of musical discovery and aggressive proactive polemic. Now in 2009 they find themselves in JUST as turbulent a time. And JUST as ready to unleash a maelstrom of musical liberation, stimulation and motivation.

New album 'How To Do Battle' is a cry for disaffected youth, bitterly disappointed and cynical liberals and everyone in between. Produced by Neil McLellan (The Prodigy), Jason Wilcock (The Ghost Of A Thousand, Reuben) and New York hip hop producer Scott Harding (Wu Tang Clan, New Kingdom) it effortlessly threads massive grooves, crushing guitars, delicate soundscapes and utterly infectious raps to create something truly special. From the battle cry of '2 3 Clear', to the dance-floor threatening 'End Of The World Show', Senser are out to prove that they are as vital and contagious as ever.

Due for release on Oct 19 2009, the thirteen track aural blast will be released on the band's own Imprint Music label. It was preceded by the 'Resistance Now' single – an adrenaline soaked, groove monster of a track.

The sextet (fronted by co-vocalists Heitham Al-Sayed and Kerstin Haigh) have been a force to be reckoned with since their debut album 'Stacked Up' crashed into the UK Charts at number 4, giving the band a platinum selling smash in 1995. With cover features in NME and Melody Maker, and a touring schedule that saw them hit the road with the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against The Machine, The Levellers, Tool and Moby – not to mention SIX slots at Glastonbury – the band have honed and sharpened their live assault and song writing chops and are itching to get back out into the fray.

May we suggest that you 'get down the front' and get into it!
