La Roux – I’m Not Your Toy

La Roux may look very much like a solo act, but in fact singer Eleanor Jackson and synth player, co-writer and co-producer Ben Langmaid are very untied when it comes to the band. As a duo they made a name for themselves in the British Music Industry with their single ‘In For The Kill’. This was an addictive track that the majority of the public had on repeat in their heads. The question on everyone’s lips is can they make another hit that is just as endearing?

The answer is simply yes! The new single ‘I’m Not your Toy’ is driven by yet another synth pop melody. It is very similar to that of ‘In for the Kill’ but maybe not as catchy. Similarly however, the chorus is one that you can grasp onto every word easily and sing along if your heart desires it. Expect plenty more catch hits from La Roux down the road.
