Ladyhawke 'Magic'

LADYHAWKE, aka Pip Brown, releases her new single ‘Magic’ (Jeremy Wheatley mix) on October 26th on Modular through Island Records. The single is taken from her debut eponymously titled album which has now sold over 200,000 copies in the UK since its release in September ’08. The single is available as a download only and features remixes by Donnie sloan, Clasixx, The Swiss and Burns.
Following an intense summer festival schedule, with appearances at Glastonbury, V, Lovebox and Underage, LADYHAWKE and her band have just started the Perez Hilton tour of the US for three weeks which culminates in a prestigious gig at the Avalon in Hollywood. From there Ladyhawke travels to New Zealand where she has been nominated for six awards at the New Zealand Music Awards.
Before they left for the US Ladyhawke performed at Village Underground to celebrate the launch of her Beck bottle artwork campaign. Over the next two months over 40 million bottles and cans of Becks will carry Ladyhawke ‘Magic’ themed front labels. These will be available in supermarkets, off licences and over 70,000 bars throughout the UK.
