Soft Toy Emergency Live Dates

Liverpool electro-pop outfit SOFT TOY EMERGENCY release Critical, their debut single for independent UK label All Around The World, this November.

Critical has already become an underground hit with multiple Radio 1 plays of the band’s performance at this year’s Reading Festival, courtesy of Huw Stephens and Nick Grimshaw, where they were the highlight of the BBC Introducing Stage. With fans like Steve Lamacq and Nemone already championing the band and a stunning new video to boot, Critical looks set to take them into the mainstream.

Soft Toy Emergency have been touring relentlessly through 2008 and 2009, securing support slots for the likes of Friendly Fires, Little Boots and N.E.R.D along with their own headline shows. Debut single, I Kno U Want It, was an NME Track of the Week and Critical recently scooped Steve Lamacq’s Rebel Playlist on 6 Music, securing a landslide 74 per cent victory.

The band play a very special hometown Halloween show at Liverpool’s Academy on October 31, with a special 14-and-over age limit ensuring their younger fans will be able to see them in action.
