All American Rejects - The Wind Blows
Album Review

All American Rejects – The Wind Blows

Having suffered from Jennifer Capriati syndrome just a tad, by becoming too big a little too soon, resulting in headline performances at benchmark venues like the Manchester Apollo several years back. This saw All-American Rejects dealing out patchy and uninspiring thirty minute sets.

Now, they are regulars on Kerrang veined compilations. This hounding, throbbing power ballad ‘The Wind Blows’, underlines their growing maturity and the increasingly searching nature of their songs. It helps draw attention to third album, ‘When The World Comes Down’ and gives their live sets more spice and variety.

It all means that we could have another case of a third album being the one that really kicks a band into the end zone. This is where the Snow Patrol comparisons begin, end and should be immediately erased from the memory.
