Shinedown – If You Only Knew

Shinedown created a grand affair for what is essentially just American commercial rock at it’s zenith. The likes of Nickleback saw the best of those days perhaps 5 years ago.

Whether this is the type of songs that audiences want to hear drawn out through time that brings together orchestra strings, acoustic and electric guitars and a a lead singer with a slightly gruff voice has yet to be seen. The song itself does the band at least the service that it is well performed if lacking originality.

But then to ears that have never heard anything like this before it’s sure to sound good.
