The Chemists - Milk And Honey
Album Review

The Chemists – Milk And Honey

Milk and honey. Mmmmm. What a delightful mix of healthy sweetness, filling your winter bones with a stunning sense of childish arrogance. You feel on top of the world after a glass of milk and honey.

However, you feel firmly in the middle after The Chemists E.P “Milk and Honey”

Destined to drown in a puddle of mediocrity, The Chemists latest E.P released on Distiller Records is as average as anything you are likely to hear, ever. The guitar riff sounds like the ghost of a slapstick comedian, the vocals sound like proffesional sneezing and the lyrics are the type of silliness that you write when your 12, look back at 20 and think “Oh God, I was bad!”

As subtle as the drawing of man-bits on a figure of popular culture but three times less interesting, this is barefaced normalcy, blatent laziness and a sharp reminder that record labels will sign any one with long hair and a waistcoat.
