VV Brown – Game Over

What can VV Brown do wrong? Nothing it seems, she checks all the boxes, fashion, style, attitude and beauty, and then this brilliant piece of work for her latest release.

Game Over seems to be more commercial than previous releases, so could be her chance at making the top spot, or that all important Radio 1 playlist, however it is not quite as good. It is flat, in terms of there are very few layers to it, but there is something about it that grabs you, if not in a full frontal confrontation, then a quick pinch from behind.

Game Over? Not quite, or hopefully not for this is a promising start and she is headed in the right direction, a little more fuss and last album and a little less ‘get me on the radio’ and you’ll have a perfect cocktail.
