Aerosmith frontman Steve Tyler has quit the band. According to newspaper the News of the World guitarist Joe Pery confirmed that the singer had left the legendary rock band after their F1 gig in Adu Dhabi.
Perry said: 'He quit as far as I can tell. I don't know for how long, indefinitely or what. I don't know what path the band will take but we'll probably find someone else to sing.'
The reason for Tyler's departure is not certain, although there are rumours it may be to pursue a solo career. Another theory is that after Tyler suffered a shoulder injury when he fell off-stage it put a strain on the band. I'm sure the real reason will emerge in time. Meanwhile wannabe frontmen should start forming an orderly queue to replace the singer.
