Illuminatus re-release debut album world-wide through Casket Music
Multi-national post-metal quartet illuminatus have confirmed the world-wide re-release of their critically acclaimed debut album The Wrath Of The Lambs via Casket Music (Panic Cell, Forever Never, Dear Superstar, Laruso) on Monday, 23 November 2009.
Having already gained enthusiastic approval from the music press (“As fine a debut album as you're likely to hear” – Metal Hammer; “Serious music for serious people” – Kerrang!; “Melodic, atmospheric, powerful” – RockSound) and significant radio play (Bruce Dickinson on 6 Music Radio; playlisted on Total Rock Radio), as well as resulting in the band playing tour support for the likes of Ministry, My Ruin, Breed77 and Susperia in the year following its first UK release in 2008, The Wrath Of The Lambs can now also count on world-wide distribution through Casket Music.
UK distribution will still be via all major retailers (HMV, Zavvi, Tesco, Woolworths, et al.), as well as all independent retailers with a PHD account. Digital distribution will continue through all major retailers (iTunes, Amazon MP3, eMusic, Tunetribe, 7Digital, Napster, Nokia, Rhapsody, HMV, Tesco, Cisco Device Store, Peoples Music Store, Play, We7), as well as also being available on Spotify.
World-wide physical distribution will include Australia (Modern Invasion), Benelux (Bertus), Canada (PHD Canada), Denmark (Target), France (Soundworks/Season Of Mist), Germany (New Music), Italy (Audioglobe), Greece (Soundforge), Portugal (Recital), Norway (Tuba Rcds), Spain (Goi Music) and Sweden (Sound Pollution).
Having already sold significant numbers of the album to fans across the globe via the band’s own internet merchandise site, illuminatus are very grateful to Casket Music for giving their album the support it deserves.
