The final action of a hectic but prosperous 2009 for Sky Larkin will see the band open for The Cribs on their UK tour in December.
The band will be joining Los Campesinos! and the Slits (in Doncaster) on the quartet’s huge, end-of-year shows.
Continuing a raucous 2009 that has seen the band criss cross the world, playing shows in the UK, USA and Europe many times over in support of their much-loved and critically acclaimed debut album,
‘The Golden Spike’, these shows will mark the end of the band’s helter skelter year.
A fortnight before these shows, the band will be playing a special one-off show at the Hoxton Bar + Grill, East London in conjunction with Levis, as part of their 5-night stand.
Support for the night comes from MPHO and Beth Jeans Houghton.
Following the release of ‘The Golden Spike’ in January this year, the band have embarked on a succession of UK tours as well as headline tours of Europe,
a stint at SXSW and two full US tour with label mates Los Campesinos! and musical pals Peggy Sue. Having now decamped back to Leeds to write new material in the new home, The Crypt,
the band are preparing a new record for release next year.
