Polydor have announced plans to release a digital offering of the Stones’ popular Wild Horses track. Wild Horses was recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama over 3 days in December 1969 and was the last of 3 songs completed at those sessions, after Brown Sugar and You Gotta Move.
Since then it has been covered by dozens of artists ranging from Neil Young, Mazzy Star and Susan Boyle, to Guns N’ Roses and Sheryl Crow.
The track will be part of a bundle that includes a live version taken from the popular ‘Stripped’ album plus a video of a live performance of the track from Knebworth in 1976.
