Shy Child for Liverpool Music Week

We are pleased to announce Shy Child and Dogshow who will be performing at the Kazimier Club on Saturday 27th February.

New York electro pop duo Shy Child are responsible for cowbell hit singles such as ‘Drop The Phone’ and ‘Noise Wont Stop’. With two new female members on synthesizer duty, the expanded 4 piece toured extensively with another nu-rave band on the block The Klaxons in 2006 and 2007 which soon built up a cool and faithful following of fans, that includes the likes of Bjork, Paul McCartney and daughter Stella, who after seeing them perform on ‘Later with Jools Holland’ duly invited them to perform at Fashion Rocks at the Royal Albert Hall. Their ‘Liquid Love’ album has comfortably confirmed their universal appeal, and we welcome them to Liverpool for this very special event.

Supporting Shy Child are electro-techno trio Dogshow, which consists of two brothers on music and a russian on lights! They’re one of the most understated talents on the electro scene, and when Clash Magazine witnessed their performance at Glastonbury last year they boldly credited them as “the best band they saw at Glastonbury”, quite a compliment, and one that they’re duly living up to.
