Two years after the album 'Scream, Aim, Fire', Welsh four piece BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE are finally set to return to the fray with the release of their hugely anticipated new album 'Fever' on April 26th, through Columbia.
The official first single, the blistering 'The Last Fight' is set to precede 'Fever', with a release date of April 19th, but before then, eager to get new music into their fans' hands as quickly as possible, the band are offering album track Begging For Mercy' as a free download for a limited time only. The track will be made available on Tuesday the 16th February at the newly launched band website – link.
After working with producer Colin Richardson (Machinehead, Funeral for a Friend) on their previous two albums, 2005's 'The Poison' and 2008's 'Scream, Aim, Fire', the album 'Fever' pairs BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE with producer Don Gilmore, best known for his work with Linkin Park on their first two albums 'Hybrid Theory' and 'Meteora'.
The band–vocalist/guitarist Matt Tuck, guitarist Michael Paget, bassist Jason James and drummer Michael Thomas–recorded 'Fever' in studios both in their native Wales and Los Angeles.
In support of the new album, the band is hitting the festival circuit, stops include New Jersey's Bamboozle Festival, Columbus, Ohio's Rock on the Range, Download Festival, Germany's massive Rock Am Ring and Rock Am Park, Sweden's Metal Town, Belgium's Graspop, Austria's Nova Rock and Italy's famed Gods Of Metal.
