Bearded Theory Festival will be supporting the charity Oxfam this year and taking place on the weekend of the 14 – 16 May 2010 at Bradley Nook Farm, Hulland Ward, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. One of the first festivals of the season and headline acts The King Blues, New Model Army and Dreadzone. Along with other acts including; The Wonder Stuff, Pama International, Neville Staple, Pronghorn, Doctor and The Medics and more. This year the festival is growing with great bands, DJs, and comedians across five stages.
Not only is there a great line up for Bearded Theory Festival 2010, but the organisers are giving everyone the opportunity to perform around the site with ‘Busk Stops’. There will be strategically placed ‘Busk Stops’ around the festival site for you to sing/play/perform in front of the crowd during the stage breaks.
The Saturday is hosting a day with over ten of the country’s finest skiffle bands, a workshops and the famous wall of skiffle. New to the festival for 2010 is a Craft Village and Village Shop, ensuring that you will want for nothing on site, and if you do maybe it can be found one of the three bars, or the Something Else area. With dancing girls, tea serving wenches and the spanking nuns running open mic stage and serving up tea and coffees from around the world, there is much more than just music at this year’s event.
