Darwin Deez UK Tour

Young Mr. Deez has most certainly stamped his eccentric mark upon 2010, emerging as an off-beat pop-star come hipster-hero amongst the hordes drab and dreary. Following a cluster of teaser shows earlier this month where his charisma and stage presence left the uninitiated sold by his sparkling talent, Darwin Deez returns in April and May to wow once again.

The self-titled debut album, released through Lucky Number on April 12th, revels in its own mischievous glee and with the official Album launch show on April 13th selling out in days, it is only fair that Mr. Deez appeases the appetites of fans by announcing a further launch show at Puregroove. This intimate instore should prove unmissable and is FREE if you pre-order the CD or Vinyl, with full details here: link

The eponymous album is preceded by ‘Radar Detector’ (released 5th April), a brightly scrubbed anthem in waiting which is currently playlisted on Radio 1, 6 Music and XFM, a monumental but absolutely justified feat for such an exciting emerging artist.

Further, along with Everything and Everything and Hurts, Darwin Deez is part of the lineup of what will be a raucous NME Radar Tour in April and May, culminating in two appearances at The Great Escape. With the likes of the Guardian, NME, MTV and more tipping him for big things, there looks to be no ease up in Darwin’s already whirlwind year.
