Scroobius Pip Releases Book

With the new dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip album currently the number 1 Hip Hop album on the iTunes and a sell out tour underway, Scroobius Pip makes his first literary foray with the illustrated book Poetry in (e)motion on Titan Books, out 26 March 2010.

Scroobius Pip set a challenge to his fans: to create their own visual representations of his tracks, incorporating his pioneering lyrics. The colossal response presented Pip with an astounding array of artwork, and this collection brings together some of the finest as an innovative collection of modern poetry.

With a forward provided by Nick Frost, the book ranges from rough and ready illustrations to slick graphic design, full comic strips to one-off art pieces, more than a dozen selected artists present their own little pieces of Pip, based on tracks including 1000 Words, When I Grow Up, Rat Race and Thou Shalt Always Kill.
