Hot Chip – I Feel Bonnie
Not only have Hot Chip created one of the boldest and most effective earworms around in new single ‘I Feel Better’ but now Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy (aka Will Oldham), one of the most sought after, brilliant and beguiling musicians of American folk, has added his fragile & haunting melodies to two versions of ‘I Feel Bonnie’.
The superb House Mix of ‘I Feel Bonnie’ will be released as part of a 12” of remixes (also featuring Richard X, Den Haan and Ill Blu).
There is also a Limited Edition 7″ (only 1000 pressed worldwide) being released exclusively for UK Record Store Day (17th April) featuring the single mix of ‘I Feel Bonnie’ – the only place this track will be available – and brand new Hot Chip track 'Bear Witness'. This will be in all good record shops two days before the general release of ‘I Feel Better’ and the 7” will come in a vintage-designed Parlophone paper house bag with jukebox-style centre-hole.
Hot Chip return from more sold out dates across Europe where ‘I Feel Better’ has been bringing down the house every night before embarking on a sold out tour of the U.S. with special guest support from the XX next month.
Finally, Hot Chip are confirmed to perform live on the first in the new series of “Later with Jools Holland’ to be broadcast on BBC2 April 13th & 16th.
