Gil Scot Heron and Divine Comedy To Headling Somerset House

The open-air concert series at Somerset House is a unique event in the summer’s live music calendar. This year the programme runs from 8 to 18 July.

The courtyard of Somerset House has played host to an inspirational line-up for the past eight years, and 2010’s season will be no exception. Tickets for at London’s premiere open air venue have been selling very fast indeed with four shows sold out already, and strong sales for all the other nights. Once again Somerset House has become an essential destination for music lovers from across London and beyond.

There are two final headliners for Summer Series to be announced. The legendary Gil Scott-Heron will play on the 14th July, and then on Saturday July 17th Neil Hannon will perform a solo Divine Comedy show. Gil Scott-Heron’s return, and critically acclaimed album ‘I’m New Here’, will make his open-air show in the courtyard one of the must-see, essentials gig this summer. The hugely popular Neil Hannon makes his return to the Summer Series with an eagerly awaited solo show to support the new album ‘Bang Goes The Knighthood’. They complete a very fine line-up of headline shows, with support acts to be announced in the coming weeks.

Tickets for Gil Scott Heron and Divine Comedy go on sale at 9am on the 1st April.

Somerset House has effortlessly established itself as a much-loved destination for live music in London.
