This is what you get when you cross Girl pop, 60’s psychedelic and modern punk-rock into the one song. It doesn’t have any right to work – but strangely it works perhaps too well. But that is not to say that the song is totally memorable. The style most certainly is but the song itself could well be forgotten all too fast.
The music is clearly the key here that is holding it all together and perhaps is working wonders on other songs the band have up their sleeve. If the style remains then they may well be bearing more fruitful tracks.
