LAZER BEAM is the debut single from the Sheffield based Anglo-Dutch duo PARTY HORSE. Released through their own Dynatron label, Lazer Beam is a pop delight where scratchy guitars, old synths and throbbing drum machines mix lovingly for 3 glistening minutes in a glammy futurist whirl.
Produced by David Kosten the single is a snapshot of a band at the beginning of an exciting few months. To promote the release Party Horse are heading out on a national tour in support of Chew Lips during April and May. Afterward they will be heading back into the studio to continue work on what will be a fantastic, fresh album.
David and Ursula are a charismatic pair whose style, passion and energetic live shows have a captivating innocence under-pinned by a fiery exuberance. Behind their striking melodies and rhythms, there’s also an aching lyrical sadness at work, a strong urgency to escape, to take-off, to transform their lives.
