Kate Nash - Do Wah Doo
Album Review

Kate Nash – Do Wah Doo

I was intriged to find out what Kate Nash was releasing for her new single. Since her first release in 2007 she’d taken a step out the lime light so I’d mentally put her in a box of ‘one album wonder’ artists….so was pleasantly surprised to hear some new material was being released.

Kate Nash is one of those artists that writes lyrics and sings tunes that are very real to life and ‘Do Wah Doo’ is no exception. Taken from upcoming album ‘My Best Friend Is You”, Miss Nash has exploded back onto the chart with this oh-so catchy tune. A tough task after the fantastically popular “Made of Bricks” album.

She appears to have pulled it off with this bouncy pop gem, as well as it being a fantastic blend of the Kate Nash we know and love it’s mixed with a 60’s Motown flare… giving her a new string to her bow.

If you aren’t overly keen to start with you’ll find yourself singing along to it which, tends to be the delightful trait of Kate’s music.
