3OH!3 (AKA Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte) are set to release ‘Don’t Trust Me’ through Photo Finish / Asylum Records on April 19. The track follows the massive top 5 single ‘Starstrukk’ which features their friend Katy Perry. Debuting at number 3 in December the track has stayed in the top ten for over 2 months and has sold over 400,000 copies in the UK alone.
A number one airplay record in the US ‘Don’t Trust Me’, which is now A-listed at Radio 1 here in the UK, is guaranteed to get any party started with its tongue in cheek lyrics and electro beats. The track has sold in excess of 2.2 million copies in the US, whilst their myspace page has reached over 215 MILLION plays! They picked up a nomination for Best New Artist at 2009’s prestigious MTV VMA Awards, recently collaborated with Ke$ha on her current single Blah Blah Blah and have an exclusive track – ‘Follow Me Down’ – on the forthcoming Alice In Wonderland Soundtrack.
You don’t get more gangsta than Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte – two natives of Boulder, Colorado who have been packing clubs and liberating libidos with their trademark blend of dirty synths and even dirtier come-ons. They whipped the masses into a gang-sign-throwing, finger-licking frenzy at their first ever UK festival appearances last year and went on to wow the crowds on a sellout tour of the UK in September which included a date at London’s Electric Ballroom.
The duo are currently in the studio finishing off their forthcoming album which will be out in July. They are soon to set off on a mammoth tour of the US after which they will be returning to our shores.
