This debut single sees much-hyped three-piece the colours getting off on the right foot with this reviewer.
It’s an utterly infectious piece of indie/pop/dance I’m already worried about getting out of my head anytime soon. Unabashedly hooky and chart-orientated, it’s the sort of romp Hard-fi made their name churning out (that’s a compliment).
There’s something nicely retro and simplistic about the formula and the chorus is big in all the right places. Yes, it’s not an earth-shattering release but it’s bouncy, synth-driven catchiness makes it great value.
Expect to hear more from this lot.
