Channel 4 has today revealed more acts that will be playing at this year’s T4 On The Beach, sponsored by Aygo by Toyota, which hits Weston-super-Mare beach on Sunday 4th July.
Britain’s resident pop starlet Pixie Lott will be heading down to the beach for the first time, bringing her award-winning chart anthems to the T4 stage. The chart-topping singer shot to fame in 2009 after her debut single Mama Do reached number one spot and her debut album Turn It Up became platinum earlier this year.
Alongside Pixie, Chipmunk will be returning to Weston-super-Mare for a second time as he continues his musical success over the past 12 months. Expected to reach the top of the charts with new single Until You Were Gone this weekend, he will perform some of the chart-topping tracks that have propelled him to become one of the UK’s leading rap artists.
Meanwhile, Brit-award winning British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding will also be showcasing her unique vocals after being added to the bill. After receiving widespread critical acclaim since she burst onto the scene at the end of last year, Goulding has quickly become one of the UK’s rising stars. Chart success with Starry Eyed has capped off a great start to a very promising musical career and a beach debut will be sure to delight her ever-growing fanbase.
As well as the plethora of top musical talent, fans will be treated to appearances from a number of special celebrity guests. These include Starman featuring lead singer Andrew Stone and Louie Spence, the flamboyant stars of hit TV show Pineapple Dance Studios, the cast of Skins and Gok Wan.
Tickets for the event are on sale now and selling fast, so fans are advised to snap them up quickly to avoid disappointment. Tickets are priced at £37 and can be bought from Ticketmaster (0844 847 1743) and link.
Channel 4 has already revealed a number of acts who will be performing at the event with JLS, N-Dubz, Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah, Alexandra Burke, Scouting for Girls already confirmed for the summer extravaganza.
