The New Loud literally places the viewer face to face with the cast of their new video, 'Heaven'. Through use of slow-motion long portraits, director Jack Packard takes his subjects past the point of their 'camera faces' in order to find true expression and real emotion.
Shot on location throughout Milwaukee and Chicago, the video assembles a cast of fellow musicians, local actors/actresses as well as some of the band's friends and fans. Live band footage was shot at the Historic Turner Hall Ballroom in Milwaukee, WI, a thriving music venue which has hosted acts such as Ladytron, The Jesus Lizard and The Magnetic Fields.
Director Jack Packard works as a writer/producer/content supervisor for the Will Ferrell, Adam McKay website 'Funny or Die'. He gained notoriety with his series of 'High-Five!' videos posted to the site.
