The Rumble Strips Take Over Topman

Tomorrow sees ex Topman Controllers, The Rumble Strips, take to the decks at the second installment of Topman’s Fashion Fridays at the Topman Oxford Circus Flagship Store.

Topman CTRL sees some of the most innovative and emerging musical talent take control of link and reveal all the influences and inspirations that make up their musical DNA. They then choose the bands for CTRL live, in a different UK city each month. The 15th of May also marks the start of the Topman CTRL Student Tour, which will travel to Newcastle, Leeds, Nottingham, Exeter and London and will see The Big Pink, Yeasayer, The Futureheads, Archie Bronson Outfit, Miike Snow and We Have Band entertain students for these exclusive free gigs. Filmed for a brand new Channel 4 show, the Tour line up has been specially chosen by Channel 4 presenters, Nick Grimshaw , Miquita Oliver, Rick Edwards, Matt Edmondson and Alex Zane, who are all championing their own date.

From 6pm this Friday (30th April) customers can get the full flavour of Topman CTRL as they experience a unique shopping experience featuring 15% off their first stylist appointment, free haircuts and wet shaves from the instore Sharps Barber Shops, complimentary beer and VitaminWater whilst shopping and an exclusive gift when customers spend over £50 – all to the sounds of one of last year’s hottest Topman Controllers.
