Following the release of ‘Fight Them On The Beaches’ earlier this year, ‘The Unsung’ is the blistering new single from Essex quartet, States of Emotion. Full of youthful passion and drive, the track is unmistakably British in sound and verse, moulded and inspired by the sounds of The Stone Roses, Kasabian, The Verve, Oasis and The Rifles; yet fervently unique in its delivery.
The video to ‘The Unsung’ features dedicated follower and fan, James Buckley from hit show, The Inbetweeners.
Together since the age of 14, these Southern upstarts stand united and ready to take the current music scene to task. After honing their skills on stage up and down the country at nights and festivals including Glastonbury 2009, Great Escape Festival, CLUB NME, Mat Hornes Sessions @ The Queen of Hoxton and OFFEST Festival the band have attracted a fierce set of followers and caught the eyes and ears of various industry tastemakers including radio leaders John Kennedy, Huw Stephens and Zane Lowe who have all featured the band on their shows.
