Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip Remix Competition
dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip release their new double a-side single on May 31st, and are inviting fans to dish up their own mixes before putting them up for the vote on 24th May.
Here's the details from Dan and Pip:
'So, it’s election time again! The smear campaigns and the leader debates have come and gone…various artists across the land are cashing in on the election to shift a few records, terrible behaviour.
*Ahem*
'While everyone’s in voting mode, we thought we’d give you something a bit more fun to take part in. We have decided to make the stems of our new single Great Britain (from our album The Logic of Chance) available for download on the Sound Cloud widget here – link
'All you music makers (pros and beginners) are invited to download those stems, take them back to your musical laboratories and create a remix. Your remix should be submitted to our Sound Cloud dropbox, which will be available on our website, by Monday 24th May.
'Once all the remixes have been received, we will be putting them up for vote on our site. The winner will see their remix used as part of our next single campaign this summer, they will also receive an acetate of their track to keep forever! Good huh?
Everybody is invited to vote for their favourite remix – and remember you only have one vote, so use it wisely – make it count!
