Joe McElderry Joins Big Weekend Line Up

Following on from his rendition of Lady GaGa's Telephone, Joe McElderry has been confirmed for an acoustic Live Lounge at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Bangor on Saturday May 22nd.

Joe was backstage on the X Factor tour when he recorded the impromptu video which was posted online.

It has since had over 100,000 hits on YouTube and fans have been calling into radio one demanding they play his version of the song.

It is not confirmed what Joe will be singing at Big weekend but he is starting rehearsals next week and is 'Very excited'
