Sub Focus - ‘Splash’ Ft Coco
Album Review

Sub Focus – ‘Splash’ Ft Coco

Hovering low key soul indie vocals are filtered through a trickling ambient/spacey backdrop, before the vocals of Coco take on a croaky desperation, as a rugged alt. vibe takes control.

Coco adds grit and heart to the proceedings and her range matches the contrasting backdrop, from sombre and reflective to agitated and searching.

The ‘RUSKO Remix’, lends a digitally intoned slant to matters and more of an echo to the expressive vocals, as the track veers towards R N’ B territory. Sub Focus continues to build upon the momentum provided by the searching, gyration inducing debut album of last year.
