Channel 4’s flagship summer music event T4 On The Beach, sponsored by Aygo by Toyota, today unveils yet more acts who will be taking to the stage on Weston-super-Mare beach on Sunday 4 July.
The UK’s favourite award-winning rapper Dizzee Rascal will once again tear up the beach when he performs his best-loved tracks. He’s as well known for his hit collaborations (Florence + the Machine and Calvin Harris) as he is his string of number ones including ‘Dance Wiv Me’ and ‘Bonkers’, so fans should look out for a bit of exclusive duet action. This will be the singer’s third appearance on the beach. He will be releasing new single ‘Dirtee Disco’ later this month.
Celebrity Big Brother star Basshunter will be making waves as he performs his dance anthems to the T4 crowd. The Swedish star, who reached the final of the hit Channel 4 show, is bound to get the crowd going wild and is sure to have the most racy stage show. His last appearance included dancers with welding gear and metal bikinis so will certainly be one to watch.
One Night Only will also be making their second appearance on the beach. Hot lead singer and the sexy face of Burberry, George Craig, is renowned for putting on a magical show which could be the influence of his A-list special friend Emma Watson aka Hermione Granger.
T4 viewers should also make sure they tune in this weekend where one more act will be exclusively revealed.
Tickets have now sold out after music fans snapped them up quickly for their chance to get up, close and personal with some of 2010’s hottest acts. Those who didn’t manage to get their ticket for this year’s event have no need to worry about completely missing out on all of the action as the event will be shown in full across Channel 4 and 4Music programming. Full details will be announced shortly.
Channel 4 has already revealed a number of acts who will be performing at the event with JLS, N-Dubz, Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah, Alexandra Burke, Scouting for Girls, Pixie Lott, Chipmunk, Ellie Goulding, Diana Vickers, The Saturdays, Taio Cruz and Professor Green already confirmed as part of the summer line-up.
T4 presenter Steve Jones commented: “The line-up just gets better and better! Dizzee and Basshunter are true stars of the stage – along with the acts we’ve already announced, this year is going to be phenomenal!
