With their debut album “Karmageddon” having been released to acclaim from publications as broadly separated as The Mirror and Q Magazine, Let’s Go To War [Peter John] flew over to these shores to show the UK what their live show was all about.
Teaming up with a band that included former members of Hell is for Heroes and a member of number 1 act Roll Deep’s studio crew, the Let’s Go To War live bandwagon hit the ground running with a successful set on the Red Bull stage at the Camden Crawl which garnered so much attention they were immediately asked to play to 2,000 people at KOKO that same night! Add to that a set at the Vice party at the Old Blue Last and a set at Camden’s Barfly and you have a pretty impressive CV for a band virtually unknown in the UK 2 months ago.
What followed was another set that wowed crowds, this time at Brighton’s Great Escape Festival which will be shown on Channel 4 at 12.30pm on Friday night/Saturday morning [21st/22nd]. Make sure you check it out to see what you missed!
