Multi-platinum singer Ciara is back and set to release her brand new single ‘Ride’ featuring Ludacris on July 4th.

The track is sure to whet the appetite of Ciara’s massive fan-base and will be the first song taken from her upcoming fourth album ‘Basic Instinct’ which will be released later this year.

Its sexy, smooth beats combined with a guest appearance from rapper Ludacris and super hot video directed by Diane Martel (‘Love, Sex and Magic’ feat Justin Timberlake) have already made this the number one most added song on US urban radio.

Ciara is most recently famous for her smash single Love, Sex and Magic featuring Justin Timberlake which sold an astonishing 300,000 copies in the UK alone last year. She first came to our attention in 2004 with her debut album 'Goodies’, which sold over 3 million records worldwide and achieved platinum status in the UK. Her debut single 'Goodies' held the number one position in the Billboard 100 singles chart for an amazing 7 consecutive weeks and reached the number one slot in the UK charts. She followed this with two further top 5 singles ‘1, 2 Step’ featuring Missy Elliot and ‘Oh’ featuring Ludacris, both taken from her debut album ‘Goodies’. Ciara released her platinum-certified second album ‘The Evolution’ in 2007, which featured her US number one hit ‘Promise’ and the provocative ‘Like A Boy’.
