Leitrim funnywoman, RTÉ star and Alternative Miss Ireland winner, Katherine Lynch has announced a brand new show in Dublin's Vicar St. on August 27th and 28th.
Following three hit series on RTÉ, a string of live tour dates last year and a top notch Christmas DVD release, Katherine Lynch has fast tracked her way to super stardom with her nutcase yet loveable characters. Her 'Hack Of Ya' tour promises not to disappoint.
From Tallaghtfornian bargain warrior, man eater Sheila Chic and her one too many Barcadi oranges to AC/DC tribute frontwoman and Mohill supermodel Liz Hurley, along with traveller sensation Singin' Bernie Walsh in tow, each character delivers a round of slapstick, no holds barred, unique Irish comedy.
Expect to see all the old favourites along with a couple of new sketches in a brand new show which will include a large-breasted Cork burlesque performer, a Christian Folk Group, air hostess Judy Free and Donegal chilling songstress Una Ní Guna.
Lynch's success has skyrocketed since her days on the Irish gay and drag scene as northern alter-ego Busty Lycra. Her three series 'Wonderwomen, 'Working Girls' and 'Single Ladies' have garnered unprecedented success and cemented her status as the best female Irish comedienne of today.
Tickets are on sale from Monday May 31st for €28.
