Does Simon Cowell Deserve an Award?

Love him or hate him, it's hard to avoid the drudgery of entertainment that his man has been involved in whether it's the X Factor or Pop Idol.

Now Cowell is set to recieve a BAFTA award next week and has been heralded by BAFTA chairman John Willis as one of the most 'brilliant entertainment producers of our time.'

I'm not a huge fan of Cowell. I consider anything that he touches as utter rubbish and after hearing this news, the first thought that came into my mind was, 'seriously?'
