DEVIL SOLD HIS SOUL, the much loved and influential underground UK 6 piece release their first new material in 2 years today, in the form of ‘Callous Heart’. The digital single is now available to buy following an exclusive first play on Radio 1’s Rock Show with Daniel P Carter, which also included an interview with lead singer Ed Gibbs.
The band have now also be confirmed as Red Bull stage headliners on Friday 11th at Download 2010.
The band are also, finally set to release their brilliant new album ‘Blessed and Cursed’ through Century Media on July 12th. Produced by band guitarist Jonny Renshaw and mixed by Steve Evetts (Dillinger Escape Plan, Glassjaw, The Cure, Sepultura), the album also features vocal contribution from Andrew Neufeld from Comeback Kid/Sights and Sounds, on the track ‘The Disappointment’, a crushingly heavy and brilliant track featuring the largest, sliding riff heard this year.
DSHS are now out on the road for a small run of intimate live dates to support
'Callous Heart’, which kicked off last night at a sold out Bristol Croft. This will be the first chance to hear some of the new material. Look out for a UK and European full live run to be announced in the coming weeks, as well as an intimate London one off show week of album release.
