3OH!3 (AKA Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte) are set to release their brand new album ‘Streets Of Gold’ on July 19 through Photo Finish / Asylum Records. It is preceded by single ‘My First Kiss (feat Ke$ha)’ on July 5, this is the second time 3OH!3 have collaborated with Ke$ha having recently featured on her hit single ‘Blah Blah Blah’. The duo have also announced a date at Kings College on Tuesday July 13 and are confirmed to play T in The Park festival on July 9 and Oxegen on July 10.
The forthcoming album will include the massive hit single ‘Starstrukk’ which features their friend Katy Perry. The track debuted at number three in the UK and stayed in the top ten for ten weeks it has so far sold a staggering 490,000 copies in the UK. Also on the album is ‘Don’t Trust Me’, a constant fixture on the airwaves the track has sold over 115,000 copies since its release in the UK whilst in the US it’s sold over 2.7 million!
You don’t get more gangsta than Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte – two natives of Boulder, Colorado who have been packing clubs and liberating libidos with their trademark blend of dirty synths and even dirtier come-ons. 2009 saw them whipping the UK masses into a gang-sign-throwing, finger-licking frenzy on two sell out tours and at their first ever UK festival appearances. The duo are currently on a mammoth tour of the US after which they are set to return to our shores to take the festival circuit by storm once more, so far confirmed:
