The day before opening The Other Stage at Glastonbury, Wales' finest The Joy Formidable have just announced that they will be supporting living legend Paul McCartney at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff (June 26th). Also appearing on the bill will be Manic Street Preachers.
The band are having an amazing 2010, and show no sign of slowing down. This summer, as mentioned above, they'll be opening the Other Stage at Glastonbury, appearing at Reading/Leeds festivals, plus heading to Australia to support Passion Pit and Temper Trap, as well as playing at the Splendour In The Grass festival.
Having released their latest single Popinjay earlier this year, the band will be releasing their debut album at the end of 2010.
