Example UK Tour

Not content with his latest assault on the on UK charts clinching the #3 spot with the summer smash ‘Kickstarts’ and his earlier Top 10 spot this year with ‘Won’t Go Quietly’, Example has been back in the studio with a plethora of stellar producers putting the final touches to his highly anticipated new album of the same name due out through Data this week. This follows the release of brand new single ‘Kickstarts’ out now. In conjunction with the album release Example has announced a 13 date tour across the UK in October.

He has recruited some of the hottest names on the scene to make a record that will continue to fuel his assault on the charts with his dysfunctional electro pop vibe. Featured tracks come courtesy of production by D&B deviant Sub Focus (Kickstarts), the unstoppable new production duo The Fearless, the legendary MJ Cole, dubstep connoisseurs Chase & Status, Scottish electro hitmaker Calvin Harris and Swedish pop experimentalist Bjorn Yttling (Peter, Bjorn and John).

This spring Example has been on his own massive 25 date UK headline tour which kicked off in April. Having supported two of the UKs biggest artists Lily Allen and Tinchy Stryder by request to sell out crowds, he has been flying solo with his own tour and a host of UK festival appearances this summer including Glastonbury, Wireless, V and Bestival to name a few.

With a killer performance at Radio 1’s Big Weekend and support from Radio 1 DJs Greg James, Zane Lowe, Pete Tong, Annie Mac, Fearne Cotton, Chris Moyles and Jo Whiley, Capital, Galaxy, Kiss, MTV, 4Music and T4 (Example was tipped as one of T4’s Rising Stars of 2010), the Example love is spreading fast. Over 6 million hits for his videos on YouTube and according to The Guardian a ‘bright pop tinged superstar in the making’ watch this space for more exclusive news.
