Bye Bye Big Brother Sunshine

Sunshine was the third evictee from the Big Brother house this weekend. I have to admit I’m quite pleased by that. I watched BB the first couple of days because I thought as it was the last ever series it might be worth watching. I took an instant dislike to medical student, Sunshine though. I mean who just wakes up one day and decides that they’re going to get everyone to call them Sunshine instead of their real name. You can’t just choose your own nickname. That’s not how they work!

I mean, not many of my friends call me by my first name but I would never introduce myself to someone as anything other than Laura. It’s my name and I’d feel like an idiot. Sunshine is more like a family pet name than a nickname anyway; my dad always has and probably always will call me Doll. I would never ask someone else to call me that! It’s ridiculous.

Anyway, rant over. That’s what summer has been about so far, Big Brother and festivals. This, I suppose, isn’t too bad. There could be worse things filling my days at the moment.
