If you missed out on the launch of Outside@Inside Festival 2010, the good news is that it’s not too late, as you get not just one but THREE more chances to join in the fun! Outside events will taking place across Reading town centre on 7th, 14th and 21st August and there will be many more Inside events too so there's no reason for anyone 0-100 not to come and get involved!

*About the Outside:Inside Festival*

Outside:Inside Festival will be running over four Saturdays from the 31st July.
Featuring music, art, film, theatre, dance, spoken word and family interaction there really is something for everyone. All the Outside festival events are FREE and you won't have to deal with the massive crowds of the larger commercial festivals.
The organisers, Outside:Inside and Reading UK CIC want to see the town’s culture recognised and supported by the people of Reading and provide a voice to the wealth of artistic talent and young enterprise.
There are more than a few local acts on the musical line-up, and for the first time there will be live festival sets in Reading from local sweethearts Does It Offend You, Yeah? Amys Ghost, Pete and the Pirates, Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, Worship, Radioactive Man, Midimidis and Limpopo Groove as well as many other bands and artists representing many great Nations including Israel, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Canada, the United States, and even Cluj, Romania.

Rather than bombard you with line-ups and information for the whole festival in one go we have decided to take it one week at time as there is just too much going on.
Full line-up below for WEEK 2.
You can visit link and you can join us on Twitter, Myspace and Facebook where you will find full listings and information for the entire festival.

Back for the 2nd year, after they killed it in the Forbury. “They are naturals, born to create the modern day folk as its done in the warmer climates of the world, born to create upbeat feel; their happiness is contagious, their music – superbly delivered, tight, passionate, well formulated within the genre. Even the endless tempo changes, a trait that can confuse the most confident movers, don't seem to affect the dancing urges of the crowd.” Zee Peach, UKevents

The Quotes Outside:Inside Festival Party
Pitcher and Piano
7.30pm – FREE
5th August

From day one, Reading four-piece The Quotes have attracted media attention, and their constant gigging and prestigious festival appearances not to mention album and EP releases have earned them a well-established fan base. Their epic, sexy and polished rock sound has caught the inspiration of many a radio DJ, promoter and music fan.

2009 began with a string of European dates and has seen the band play support slots for Hockey, The Charlatans and Goldie Lookin' Chain as well as at five major festivals in the South East. Consistent coverage in the local press as well as considerable air time and radio appearances thanks to BBC Berkshire, BBC London and BBC 6, and KROQ in California have helped raise The Quotes profile over the last year, and with professional representation and an eager street team the only way is up.
The bands ferocious sound and slick execution defies their years. In July 2009, at the centre of a storm of curiosity, excitement and anticipation, The Quotes released The Monte Rosa EP with two sold-out nights at one of their hometowns best established music venues. An enormous achievement for an unsigned band but yet another great credit to these four vastly talented young musicians.

The band will bring their set along with a host of indie/rock covers to warm up the festival crowd, ready for a good 'ole P&P knees up!
